How to clean my Pizzelle Maker?

I was wondering if anyone knew how to properly clean a pizzelle iron.......then again, a lot of people don't even what it is.  Anyway, it makes snowflake cookies that you can just use as cookies, or roll for cannolis or cones.  Thank you!

Answer:

I miss those!  I haven't had one since my Grandma died.  No one in my family makes them anymore.  We always had them at Christmas and Thanksgiving.  I'm not sure how to clean the pizzelle iron, but I'm guessing it's probably like the George Foreman grill since they are both non-stick hot surfaces.  After it cools off, I take a wash rag with a couple drops of dish soap and get in the crevasses with it.  It needs to be rinsed carefully so you don't get any of the electrical parts wet (obviously!).  Good luck!!
